Pirastro Violin Insula 4/4 Set
Warm. Complex. Remarkably Stable.
Pirastro Insula violin strings combine the warmth, depth and tonal complexity traditionally associated with gut strings with the stability and responsiveness of a modern synthetic core. Their new Insula Polymer Technology is designed to offer a flexible, resonant feel under the bow, producing a rich sound with excellent colour and projection.
They respond quickly and precisely, with a notably short settling-in period and reliable tuning stability across changing conditions. Insula is an excellent choice for players wanting a warm, sophisticated and expressive sound without the additional maintenance often associated with traditional gut strings.
🎵 Staff Notes 🎵
“Insula is a great option for players looking for the warmth and complexity of gut, but with the stability, quicker settling and consistency of a modern synthetic string.”
