Pirastro Passione Cello Strings
Expressive. Responsive. Versatile.
Pirastro Passione cello strings combine the warmth and complexity of traditional gut with the stability of modern materials. The A and D strings feature a single filament steel core wound with chrome steel, delivering excellent clarity and articulation in the upper register. The G and C strings have a hand-wound gut core, offering a rich, resonant tone with a broad overtone spectrum. This combination provides a harmonious balance across all four strings, making them suitable for a variety of musical styles and settings.
Designed for advanced players seeking a blend of traditional warmth and modern reliability, Passione strings offer quick response and precise intonation. Their versatility makes them a compelling choice for cellists looking to explore a wide range of tonal possibilities.
