Obligato Viola Strings
Warm. Rich. Smoothly Responsive.
Obligato strings by Pirastro deliver a full, dark tone with rich overtones and a natural warmth that enhances the character of your viola. Built on a modern synthetic core, they offer excellent tuning stability, smooth response, and a refined feel under the fingers.
Ideal for violists seeking depth and colour without sacrificing clarity, Obligato strings suit both solo and orchestral settings—especially on instruments that need a warmer voice.
🎵 Staff Notes 🎵
“Obligatos bring a beautiful warmth and richness. They’re a great fit for instruments that sound too bright or need extra body and warmth.”
