Meet David & Jenny Dalseno
David and Jenny's combined expertise in music education, performance, and instrument maintenance make them well-equipped to offer a comprehensive approach to teaching string instruments. They have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of stringed instruments and how they produce sound, as well as an appreciation for the artistry and musicality required to play them.
David
David is a well-known performer and educator in Australia. A graduate of the Queensland, Tasmanian and Sydney Conservatories, and the University of Colorado, USA, he is frequently engaged for tertiary and pre-tertiary tuition, including with the Queensland and Sydney Conservatories and the Australian Youth Orchestra. David is a violinist with the acclaimed Orava Quartet, which has appeared extensively on national and international stages. ‘The Australian’ hailed Orava Quartet as the “future of Australian Chamber Music” and “one of Australia’s proudest cultural exports”. David is a recording artist signed with Universal Music Australia, releasing on classical music’s most prestigious label, Deutsche Grammophon.
Jenny
Jenny is a graduate of the University of Queensland and University of Tasmania, completing her Master of Music on full scholarship. She is a music educator and performer having toured extensively throughout Australia and overseas. Jenny is passionate about teaching young children to play the violin in a creative, joyful, yet technically challenging environment. She has over 20 years experience teaching both privately and in schools
